Great things happen when two talented women get together.
Such is the case with a new skincare launch, created when Victoria Beckham and her longtime facialist and friend Melanie Grant decided to pool their expertise.
Australian skincare expert and aesthetician Melanie Grant is well-known around the world for delivering plump, glowing skin for her clientele that includes a number of A-List celebrities such as Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett. She has sought-after clinics in Sydney, Melbourne and Los Angeles where she delivers skin-transforming facials using the latest ingredients and techniques.
Victoria Beckham has been a long-term client of Grant’s and has often spoken publicly of her respect for the skin expert’s knowledge and product advice. The two met years ago while Beckham was travelling in Australia and was introduced to Grant by mutual friend Christine Centenera, now the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Australia. The former Spice Girl, now fashion designer and beauty entrepreneur, went for a facial with Grant and says she was immediately impressed.
“What I loved was not just the treatment, but the products that you used,” Victoria shared in a clip speaking with Melanie released on her Instagram page. “Because you didn’t have your own products, you used the best-in-class of everybody else,” she said. “So it was actually you that introduced me to Augustinus Bader (a skincare line Beckham has also gone on to collaborate with on her) all those years ago. For me, you are the best facialist that I have ever worked with.”
She called Melanie her ‘skin guru’. “I remember through Covid you were sending me packages for me and Harper!” Now, the two have come together to develop cleansing products to Victoria’s quickly growing Victoria Beckham Beauty line.
