Melanie Grant represents the crème de la crème of the beauty world in a myriad of ways. From her A-list clientele, to her chic salons in Sydney, Melbourne, LA, and soon, London (as well as a biannual residence in Paris, naturellement), to her professional partnerships with CHANEL and Augustinus Bader, she is a skin expert well-versed in luxury. In winter 2022, she adds author to her list of accomplishments, with the much-anticipated release of her beauty tome, The Modern Guide to Skin Health. Despite a hectic schedule that involves constant skin-disrupting travel, she consistently looks utterly flawless, so we asked Melanie to open up her bathroom cabinet and makeup bag and share exactly which products she uses to get her glow. As to how to create your own personalised version of her routine? Speaking with us from the south of France, Melanie tells us that being able to share her advice with a wider audience than is possible for her to personally see in-studio is exactly what drove her to writing her book in the first place. She says, “I’m so lucky to belong to an industry that champions constant innovation, but often the amount of information presented to us on a daily basis can be overwhelming. I hope that by sharing what I have learned over the past two decades of my career, I can give others the tools to prioritise their own skin health in a way that’s enjoyable, easy to reference and easy to return to as we navigate the many ebbs and flows of our skin throughout our lifetimes. Taking care of the skin doesn’t need to be complicated, complex or even expensive. Great results are achievable for all of us, just by using a handful of the right products in the right way.”
