Notes On Sublime Skin Tightening

What is it?

Sublime Skin Tightening is a non-invasive, wrinkle reduction procedure used to tighten areas of the skin with mild skin laxity, particularly beneficial for the cheeks, nasolabial folds, jawline, around the eyes and neck. Sublime is a far less painful alternative to Thermage. It employs bipolar radiofrequency and infrared technology to heat the deep dermis and stimulate collagen production, which results in a denser, lifted, more refreshed and youthful appearance.

Why we recommend it?

Sublime Skin Tightening is suitable for all skin types but is ideal for targeting laxity, fine lines and wrinkles across the cheeks, nasolabial folds, jawline, around the eyes and neck. It offers a safe and effective non-invasive approach to delivering permanent results for contouring, firming and thickening the complexion by reconstructing your skin’s own natural collagen and elastin stores. The results with Sublime are far more natural-looking when compared to fillers, and because it can be carried out with no associated downtime, is a more manageable skin tightening alternative to surgery. Results are cumulative with Sublime, so often a course of treatments in close succession are recommended to yield the best possible result long term.

Expected Downtime

Generally there is no noticeable downtime after Sublime. Some clients may experience a transient reddening of the skin that will usually dissipate in 1 to 2 hours after treatment. Occasionally mild swelling can occur immediately after treatment, especially on the face. This is temporary and usually dissipates within 2-5 days post treatment. As always, be diligent with your suncare and be mindful of your sun exposure and do not use actives like retinol, AHAs or BHAs for 72 hours post treatment.

Recommended Treatments

Sublime is best carried out in a course of 40-treatments, scheduled 4 weeks apart.
