The celebrity facialist shares her skincare essentials for travel and talks all things Chanel Sublimage.
Inherent to the Chanel DNA is a belief that all women should feel free. Free within their clothes — unrestricted by societal expectations of how they should dress or the styles they should wear — and free to explore the world. Gabrielle Chanel was a keen traveller and always said that she only needed four pairs of shoes to go anywhere she wanted. This same simplicity is at the heart of the Chanel Sublimage range. First launched in 2006, the luxury skincare range is designed to be your trusted travel companion, supporting and enhancing your skin wherever you go.
The star ingredient of Sublimage is the Vanilla Planifolia. Extracted by Chanel Research at their open-air laboratory in Madagascar, they use a polyfractioning process that results in the vanilla having active molecules that are 40 times higher in concentration than the raw plant material. Skin cell rejuvenation is increased, reducing the appearance of fine lines and leaving skin hydrated and smooth. What’s more, the packaging — characterised by Chanel’s trademark black and white, and highlighted by the addition of a luminescent gold — is made with travel in mind. The polished glass jar of the signature Sublimage La Creme is detachable from its refill jar, meaning you can take it with you on your adventures, no matter where they lead you.
